Embodiment Coaching

An in-depth exploration of your body’s holdings, allowing you to unravel outdated patterns and uncover the deeper wisdom within.
An Embodiment session is a guided journey, an invitation to slow down and tap into the wisdom of your body.
These sessions are a deep inward experience, allowing you to explore an undesired pattern or specific situation through the felt sense of your body, rather than the habitual thoughts of your mind.
Each session begins with a "drop-in," where I guide you through an embodied meditation to shake off any pre-session jitters and arrive more fully in the session together.
After, we discuss the pattern or situation you want to shift or gain greater clarity on. Once I have a clear understanding of this challenge, I invite you to close your eyes and reconnect with your body. Through a back-and-forth dialogue, we then explore the sensations and textures in your body related to this situation. As we follow your body's lead, I offer prompts, guidance, and inquiries until a natural shift or resolution occurs.
This process can evoke images, sensations, stories, and insights that bring profound clarity and offer new perspectives on a long-held way of being or experiencing a situation.
Clients often leave these sessions with a greater sense of calm, clarity, connection, and an expanded perception of their situation, along with plans for aligned action.
Within 24 hours after your session, you will receive a detailed email highlighting key moments from our time together, including any insights that arose from your deeply embodied state.
Breathwork Healing

Activate, ignite and clear held emotions in your body so you can expand into more of you!
Breathwork is an active, guided breathing meditation designed to move energy within your body and reconnect you to your divine wisdom within.
This technique uses a three-part breathing pattern performed through the mouth while lying down, allowing you to bypass your thinking mind and connect deeply with your body. The active breathing portion lasts 25-35 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of deep rest for integration. Each session features a curated playlist of music designed to ignite and move energy.
We begin each session by discussing any blocks or limitations you are ready to let go of. Once we start the active breathing portion, the focus is to stay present with your breath and allow energy to move. I will be by your side, offering suggestions and prompts to inspire flow and release.
Breathwork can be powerful medicine and can create change quickly. Clients often come away feeling clearer, lighter, and more heart-centered. They frequently report feeling more creative, having a stronger sense of clarity and purpose, and experiencing a greater connection with their intuition and embodied knowing.

My name is Callista. I am a breathwork facilitator, embodiment guide, mother to a tween and teen, devoted friend, empowered empath, lover of wildflowers, and a deep believer in personal healing and self-care as the work of the collective. When we tend to our own wounds with compassion and curiosity, we heal, and our hearts expand, connecting us to our shared humanity, Mother Earth, and all her inhabitants.
When I was very young, I sensed there was something greater and more magical than the unpredictable world I knew. I was a highly sensitive child, and yearned for peace. During my early teens, I struggled with self-destructive behaviors, which eventually led me to my own healing journey by my senior year of high school.
I immersed myself in self-help and spiritual texts, studied meditation and yoga, and eventually attended a school for herbalism at the Center for Botanical Studies, in Colorado.
As I went deeper into my practices and studies, I developed a strong and lasting connection with the earth. I also began noticing how disconnected I was from my own body. This disconnection eventually began manifesting as panic disorders, and a barrage of autoimmune symptoms that led to a complete physical health crisis.
In 2001, a friend brought me to a 5Rhythms dance class that changed my life. This ecstatic movement exploration was the beginning of what became a decade long journey, and served as a major conduit for healing much of the trauma I carried in my body.
During this time, I attended massage school at the Port Townsend School of Massage, where I learned to work with other people and their bodies. Still, something was missing. I yearned to engage more deeply with the full range of complexities that exist across the human experience—body, mind and spirit.
In my late 20s, I attended an undergraduate program at Fairhaven College (WWU), where I majored in somatic healing studies, and finally began to integrate my many passions for healing. After raising my young children, breathwork healing and embodiment coaching found me, creating a beautiful bridge that connected my many personal, professional studies, and healing experiences.
As a breathwork facilitator and embodiment guide, the work I offer is grounded, heart-centered, and trauma aware. I seek to guide others back to their most authentic truth, to reclaim their essence and joy, and to connect with the divine embodied wisdom that lives inside of them.
After decades of study, practice, and self-exploration, I believe the answers we seek already live inside of us. Sometimes, we need the right support to connect back to our innate knowing, and our embodied wisdom.

Embodiment is about more than just physical presence; it’s a practice of fully inhabiting your body across all dimensions—physical, mental, emotional, and energetic— and feeling what is alive and true, no matter how subtle. This deep connection allows you to access the profound wisdom and insights that reside in the body, rather than relying solely on the mind. Through embodiment, you can cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the release of old programming, limiting beliefs, and social conditioning that keep you separated from your true self—your essence.
We live in a culture that disconnects us from our bodies, teaching us to distract and ignore our body’s subtle messages early on. This disconnection causes many to live from the neck up, focusing on what we should be doing and what is expected of us. As a result, we become disconnected from our true needs and desires, leading to patterns of behavior that may not align with the life we truly desire.
By bringing awareness to the messages of our body and how we respond to different situations, embodiment helps us break the cycle of unconscious habits and automatic reactions. This awareness allows us to recognize where we hold tension, fear, or unresolved emotions, offering the opportunity to make conscious choices. Instead of being driven by ingrained patterns, we gain the power to pause, feel, and respond with intention, creating new pathways and cultivating a life that is more conscious, connected, and aligned with our deepest values and desires.

The breathwork I offer is a form of active meditation that uses a 3-part breathing pattern to access a non-ordinary state of consciousness. By focusing on the breath, you can bypass the analytical mind and tap into the subconscious, where stored emotions, traumas, and blockages reside. This practice can be cathartic, moving energy through the body and helping to release emotional and energetic congestion, which can manifest as physical or mental discomfort. Breathwork is both cleansing and empowering, allowing for rapid shifts in perspective, heightened clarity, emotional release, and a deepened connection with your inner self.

Breathwork healing and embodiment work are powerful practices that facilitate deep healing and transformation. These approaches go beyond traditional talk therapy, inviting you into a space where the body’s wisdom is honored and utilized as a gateway to profound change.
Both breathwork and embodiment work open the door to deeper emotional layers but are energetically quite different. Embodiment work is a slow and gentle exploration that can reach profound depths, while breathwork healing is more active, igniting, and generally more cathartic. Some may prefer one modality over the other, while others enjoy alternating between them, creating shifts and insights from different perspectives.
